IICOA & Permit & License Division Conducts Inspection

IICOA and the Permits & License Division conducted a joint inspection of all Internet Cafe shops in Iligan last August 22, 2008. The purpose of conduction said inspection was to implement and enforce City Ordinannce 07-5166, and to monitor illegal abd irresponsible Internet Cafe Operators." This is a continuous activity of the Association along with the City government as partner agency to ensure an effective enforcement of the said local ordinance", Mr. Felix Maminta,the IICOA President stressed. In related to enforcement, IICOA had filed a comlaint before the Office of the Punong Barangay of Poblacion to the owner of Campus net Internet Cafe for violation of section 6 of said ordinance. A hearing was already scheduled.
