IICOA Holds General Assembly Meeting

The Iligan Internet Café Operators Association, Inc. (IICOA) conducted its 2nd Annual General Assembly Meeting last March 29, 2008 at Elena Tower Inn, Iligan City. The highlights during the affair include a lecture-forum on Microsoft licensing by Mr. Erick Martin Olavides, Microsoft’s Sales Manager for Vis-Min area. The unveiling and launching of IICOA logo and distribution of plaques followed. It was graced by City Government officials headed by City Administrator Pacificador Lluch, who represents Mayor Lawrence Cruz, City Councilor Moises Dalisay, Jr. and former City Councilor Bienvenido Badelles, the author of Internet Café Ordinance of the City.

The election of officers was made in the afternoon and the successful elected officers were: Mr. Felix C. Maminta, President, Engr. Olomodin M. Hadjiazis, Vice-President, Mrs. Melody P. Legaspi, Secretary, Mrs. Raquel B. Pacilan, Treasurer, Mrs. Noville Montañer, Auditor and Mr. Japhet Ernie P. Onque, Public Information Officer. All incumbent officers were re-elected, except the positions for Secretary and Auditor.
